Fred Hutch’s Biospecimen Processing & Biorepository shared resource provides investigators with high-quality biospecimen sample processing, DNA/RNA extraction and biorepository services. The core formed in 2015 from the merger of two longstanding Fred Hutch research resources which have played key roles in decades of research studies. We offer our expertise and services to researchers in the Fred Hutch, University of Washington and Seattle Cancer Consortium to advance their laboratory research and preclinical studies. Our designated International Histocompatibility Work Group (IHWG) Biorepository serves research community around the world.
Our Services
Our core facilty contains two biorepositories: the International Histocompatibility Work Group Biorepository and the Hematopoietic Cell Therapy Research Cell Bank. The team also provides customizable biospecimen processing services.
Our Team at Work
We work with each investigator to meet the unique needs of their studies. Our goal: to do our part in the development of new treatments that save lives from cancer and related diseases.
