I decided to become a Spiritual Health clinician after having a chaplain mentor who showed me that getting to sit with others in times of sorrow and joy was exactly the type of vocation I was looking for. I love getting to meet different people and learn their stories, and I am grateful to support and walk alongside them at such a unique point in their journeys.
I believe in a patient-centered and patient-guided approach to care. I believe that a good care relationship is centered on trust, connection and rapport, and I strive to provide support that fosters these.
I have worked at Fred Hutch since 2022. My focus is working with Fred Hutch patients while they are inpatient at UW Medical Center - Montlake.
Previously, I worked in trauma and pain medicine. I bring this experience and a trauma-informed lens with me into my work.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, creative endeavors and exploring the outdoors with my spouse and dog.
Patient Care Philosophy
I approach my care with honesty and authenticity in hopes that this will create space for patients to feel safe being their authentic selves as well.
