I started working at Fred Hutch in 1987, and my current role is supervisor of Medical Nutrition Therapy Services. I see patients at Fred Hutch Cancer Center – South Lake Union.
I was always interested in working in the health care field, and after taking a college nutrition class, I knew I wanted to become a registered dietitian. I am passionate about helping patients apply principles of food and nutrition throughout their treatment to help make a positive impact and improve their health. It is rewarding to be able to provide nutritional guidance to patients who experience treatment-related side effects and to share in the joy of their recovery.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, church activities, cooking and reading.
Clinical Expertise
I specialize in seeing adult allogeneic transplant patients, long-term follow-up transplant patients and survivorship clinic patients.
Patient Care Philosophy
I am part of a multidisciplinary team with the shared goal of supporting patients following a life-altering diagnosis. I provide individualized education to help each patient achieve and maintain a good nutrition status throughout treatment and beyond.
I believe that every patient deserves the best possible care. I am a compassionate listener with good communication skills and am here to support you through your treatment and care.
