I started working at Fred Hutch in 2010. Currently, I see patients at Fred Hutch Cancer Center – South Lake Union and Fred Hutch at Overlake Cancer Center.
I became a registered dietitian because I wanted to help people. My grandmother had a lot of health problems related to diet, and I think this propelled me to learn more about how eating the right diet can be helpful.
Outside of work, I love reading historical fiction and walking in the forest. I am a grandmother to five and enjoy spending as much time with them as possible.
Clinical Expertise
I have more than 40 years of experience as a registered dietitian. I see mostly patients with gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancers as well as sarcomas.
Patient Care Philosophy
I try to give practical nutrition information about how to best care for yourself during cancer treatment. I also enjoy meeting people and hearing their stories.
