I started working at Fred Hutch in 2024. I see patients at Fred Hutch Cancer Center - Peninsula, Fred Hutch at Overlake Cancer Center and Fred Hutch Cancer Center - South Lake Union.
I decided to become a genetic counselor because I want to help patients navigate the uncertainty of genetic medicine. I am an advocate for genetic counselors and their patients, previously acting as the Co-Coordinator of the Minority Genetic Professionals Network (MGPN) and Co-Chair of the University of Washington Genetic Counseling Graduate Program Diversity, Anti-Racism and Equity (DARE) Committee.
I live in Poulsbo and am a father to a set of twins.
Patient Care Philosophy
Every patient’s needs are different — I enjoy taking the time to get to know my patients to ensure their individual needs are met. I also want to make sure that each family has the support they need.
I pride myself in being kind, approachable and understanding. Any question is more than welcome. I’m an ally for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
