Dr. Lev Silberstein studies factors that regulate the behavior of normal and malignant stem cells in the bone marrow. He and his colleagues aim to develop new ways to boost blood cell production in patients with blood disorders, inherited bone marrow failure and those recovering from blood stem cell transplants.
