Dr. Rachael Safyan develops and conducts clinical trials of new therapeutic strategies for people with pancreatic or colorectal cancer. As a translational researcher, she designs trials that incorporate recent laboratory discoveries about cancer biology. She aims to improve care with new treatments targeted to the molecular signatures of patients' tumors. Dr. Safyan is also a medical oncologist who cares for people with gastrointestinal cancers, especially pancreatic and colorectal cancers.
