Dr. Haolong Li investigates the molecular networks that fuel tumor growth in advanced prostate cancer. His work focuses on the genes that regulate androgen receptors, which are critical in prostate cancer progression. Dr. Li studies how aggressive prostate cancers reactivate signaling pathways to escape drugs designed to inhibit androgen receptor binding, leading to drug resistance. He employs innovative genetic screening and sequencing techniques to identify the molecular drivers of drug resistance and discover new therapeutic targets.
