Dr. Matthew Givens is physician focused on palliative care, treating patients with life-limiting conditions during any stage of their illness. His expertise in end-of-life care includes symptom management, pain treatment and skills in communicating with patients and their families. Dr. Givens is an advocate for patient education and working with them to craft treatment plans that meet their goals. He wants to serve as a bridge to help patients engage with the medical system to get what their families value most, whether that is prolonging longevity or obtaining comfort care.
