The Training Navigation (TN) program is funded by the National Cancer Institute's Center for Cancer Health Equity (CCHE). The purpose of this initiative is to support enhanced partnerships between the Fred Hutchinson/University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Cancer Consortium and representatives from Minority-Serving Institutions, in order to diversify the cancer research workforce and expand capacity to conduct cancer disparities research.
Partner Sites
We are partnering with representatives from minority-serving institutions across the country to collectively diversify the cancer research workforce.
Training Navigators
Fred Hutchinson/University of Washington/Seattle Children’s Cancer Consortium faculty serve as training navigators to work with trainees from minority serving institutions by providing resources and mentorship support to URM students who would like to navigate the complexities of finding career opportunities in cancer research.
