*To all potential PPFP applicants regarding faculty sponsorship:

We encourage you to apply even if you aren’t sure where your research best aligns within our institution (please see disciplines and sub disciplines on landing page), or who might be an ideal PI to work with. We may be able to help match you. This is not a guarantee of a position, but we will do our best to work with eligible candidates. Please complete all application components to the best of your ability. If you have not yet identified a faculty member to sponsor you, we will do our best to assist you in this regard.

Please note that departments and faculty mentors currently need to provide salary support for the PPFP Fellow. PPFP fellows do have access to apply for funding for travel and potentially some research support which typically comes from internal sources at Fred Hutch. (such as the Diverse Trainee Fund). It is expected that departments and faculty mentors will make appropriate arrangements for space and other necessary resources.
